Press release: SPA Canada team is growing: Our new lawyer, José Dorelas.

 

Montréal, May 29, 2018—Today, the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) Canada welcomes a new member to their team: Mr. José Dorelas, who will act as Attorney for SPA Canada.

Me. Doleras has chosen to apply his legal skills to help numerous non-profit organizations (NGO), including the Black Coalition of Quebec, whose mission it is to defend human rights and social justice. He has also worked at Radio Centre-Ville, a multicultural community radio station located in Montréal. As part of his duties with SPA Canada, Me. Dorelas will supervise SPA Canada’s activities, particularly the organization’s investigations and activism. He will also handle legal disputes against organizations that exploit animals.

We are thrilled to welcome Me. Dorelas into our ranks and to benefit from his professional experience
and commitment to animal welfare.
