Leafleting against the fur industry
As part of the National Fur Coat Donation Month founded by SPA Canada, we are organizing public mobilization activities throughout the month of May in front of stores selling fur.
Spring is the perfect time of the year to meet fur store customers who bring their coat to storage during the warmer months. We are meeting customers to encourage them to donate their fur coat and to buy another one that didn’t cause any cruelty to animals. The fur coats collected will be given to homeless people next November for the cold season. This action has the effect of devaluing this cruel trend and warm those who need it most.
During these mobilization events, leaflets against the fur industry are given to passers-by and discussion are made with the public on the reality of the fur industry in order to inform the population about the cruelty surrounding the fur industry and to encourage consumers to make fur-free ethical choices when shopping.
More than 400 years after the beginning of the fur trade in Canada, it's time to end it!
Join SPA Canada for the National Fur Coat Donation Month by participating in leaflet distribution and to collect donated fur coats.
Flyers against the fur industry will be available on site, you can bring your own. Peaceful event. Discussion with interested passers-by about the reality of the fur industry.
