Revealing the True And False In Nutrition with renowned Dr. Michael Greger

dr. gregerSPA Canada is proud to announce the return of Dr. Michael Greger to Montreal. Unique in his approach, Dr. Greger is the creator of the yearly review of nutrition which combines an analysis of up to 5000 scientific nutrition studies into a single presentation. His latest work, the 2012 nutrition review, presents the links between out nutrition and the majors’ cause of mortality with humor and wisdom. This conference wills reveal the true and false in nutrition! 

Dr. Michael Greger is also the creator of the acclaimed website nutritionfacts.org and a renowned speaker on nutrition and plant-based diets. See this short video for more information about Dr Greger.

Biography:
Dr. Michael Greger is a licensed general practitioner specialized in clinical nutrition, food safety and questions related to public health. He is a graduate of Cornell’s School of Agriculture and Tufts School of Medicine. He is a founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, has lectured at the Conference of World Affairs, the National Institute of Health, and the International Bird Flu Summit. Currently Dr. Greger proudly serves as the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at the Humane Society of the Unites States.

*All speaking fees and proceeds Dr. Greger receives from the sale of his books and DVDs are donated to charity. 

Salon national des animaux de compagnie 2012 - Montreal

Public awareness representatives were present at the 2012 SNAC November 3 & 4 to meet animal lovers. They educated them about animal cruelty, and urge them to sign petitions against Quebec puppy mills, the updating of the federal law on animal rights, as well as animal overpopulation and the sale of animals in pet shops. Our mascot Kiki was also present to educate people to the cause.

Be a super hero for animals, sign the petitions

Montreal Comiccon 2012: SPA Canada was there!

Our representatives educated super hero fans during the Comiccon weekend September 14-16, 2012 - about animal cruelty, and urge them to sign petitions against Quebec puppy mills, the updating of the federal law on animal rights, as well as the Berger Blanc case, animal overpopulation and the sale of animals in pet shops.

Our public awareness teams were at the Grand Prix of Montreal on Crescent street, from June 7 to 10!

Our representatives educated fans about animal cruelty, and signed 4975 petitions to update the federal law on animal rights! They also took the opportunity to educate the public about puppy mills, the Berger Blanc case, animal overpopulation and the sale of animals in pet shops.

Congratulations to our public awareness reps and to the passersby who have compassion for animals!
